Is It UNETHICAL to use HYPNOSIS to get a PROSPECT to BUY?

Over the past couple of months I have been totally immersed, captivated and utterly intrigued like many of you are with the world of hypnosis.

Naturally, as an influence and persuasion expert and trainer, to acquire these impromptu hypnosis techniques and demonstrate them in front my audience helps prove the notion that, given the right tools and strategies ALL people can be persuaded.

So, you’re probably sat there wondering whether I use my hypnosis skills in order to gain my prospects business, right?

The answer to this question is ABSOLUTELY!!!

If you want to report me for using hypnotic techniques to win business then be prepared because I’m going to take you down with me for doing exactly the same thing!

Yes! That’s right, you are as guilty as I am yet you’ve probably never been told.


What is hypnosis?

Unsurprisingly about 83.4% of the population would interpret the word HYPNOSIS as something that resembles unconsciousness that is induced by a man with a goaty beard, clicking his fingers and commanding you to SLEEP!

So what’s your impression of what hypnosis is; for example, a swinging pocket watch, the word sleep or barking like a dog?Sales Hynosis

For me it’s none of those things. What I have learned both in terms of being hypnotised and hypnotising others is that HYPNOSIS is simply a state of relaxation and calm where the subject is more excepting of suggestions than normal. Essentially once you grab hold of this idea of hypnosis being a heightened susceptibility to suggestions, you start to realise that you are experiencing this phenomena every single day and even right now!

How do we hypnotise in sales or in everyday life?

Ok, a bit silly I know but notice how your eyes felt when you were sat there. Many of you would have adjusted your seating position and have been acutely aware of how your back is pressed against the chair and how you want to take a deep breath! Right, I’m going to stop now but the fact remains that this is NO DIFFERENT to good salesmanship where the sales profession is able to create a state of calm, trust and rapport to make suggestions about what, and how, the prospect WILL FEEL on purchasing and using his product or service.


The EXPOSE

A quick review of this article will show and prove to you just how major corporations, learned sales professionals and even your peers and spouses, influence you to make decisions through their ability to suggest.

[If you’ve read previous additions you will know that if you start a sentence with a word ending in [LY], it makes that sentence impossible to object to and what is said will be taken as gospel truth. (Probalby the Best Lager in the World / Exceedingly Good Cakes et) - LY Words]

 2.      “So, you’re probably sat there wondering whether I use my hypnosis skills in order to gain my prospects business right?” Hypnosis in selling
  [No you weren’t however notice that by me suggesting you ought to be thinking that compelled you to think exactly that - Leading & Pacing]


  3.       “Before I teach you ‘HOW TO HYPNOTISE ANYONE INSTANTLY!’”
[I’ve primed you with what you are going to learn yet kept my 'sales pitch' separate. Imagine saying to a client... ‘Before we begin I’ve just got to ask a couple of quick questions’. You have separated your essential questioning from your ‘sales pitch’ and therefore reduced buying resistance to zero. 4.       “Unsurprisingly about 83.4% of the population would interpret the word HYPNOSIS...” [Exactly the same as number 1 however this time I threw in a fictions statistic just to prove that NONE of YOU questioned it and took it a gospel truth - LY Words]

5.       “So what’s your impression of what hypnosis is; for example, a swinging pocket watch, the word sleep or barking like a dog?”
[Notice how I asked an innocuous question however gave your brain 3 suggested answers which you all went with WITHOUT QUESTION. My examples/ideas became your responses and answers. Example: What would be a good outcome from today's training; for example, if I could increase conversion rates, increase motivation or simply suggest new techniques you currently don't use? Again, notice how your brain simply excepts MY suggestions and commits to them! - Lazy Questioning]

6.       “Go ahead, carry on reading but notice as you read how your eyes want to skip straight to the bottom...”
 
[Telling people how they should feel or act will normally do exactly that. Example: 'Have you noticed how much easier you’re typing with that ergonomic keyboard Mr Customer?' 'I can see you're thinking about who would beneift from this' - Mind Reading Strategies]

There are many many more but for now I just wanted to use what has been contained in the past 3 editions to show how you are being persuaded so that NOW YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO PERSUADE.
